The Mayors of Perm and Ufa signed the Action Plan for the implementation of the agreement on cooperation between the cities

The Action Plan implies cooperation in the development of entrepreneurship and tourism, holding joint events in the field of culture and sports, and exchanging experience on major issues of local importance.

This summer the delegation of the capital of Bashkortostan visited Perm. Then the Mayor of Perm Aleksey Demkin and the Mayor of Ufa Ratmir Mavliev signed an agreement on cooperation between the cities that have a lot in common. Both are cities with the population over 1 mln people, cities of labor valor and industrial centers of the country, and at the same time they are preparing for anniversaries - Perm for its 300th anniversary in 2023, Ufa for its 450th anniversary in 2024.

In October, a delegation from Perm arrived in Ufa on a return visit. On October 6, the signing ceremony of the Action Plan for the implementation of the agreement on cooperation between the two city administrations for 2022-2023 took place. The action plan implies cooperation in the development of entrepreneurship and tourism, holding joint events in the field of culture and sports, and exchanging experience on major issues of local importance.

According to Ratmir Mavliev, after the summer trip, Ufa took over some interesting practices of Perm and is already planning to implement them.

- Ufa also has something to show. These are "unique" beautification programs, interesting ideas for the creation and reconstruction of public spaces. We have our own good experience in holding large-scale events. And we will share all this with you during your visit with great pleasure,” he stressed.

The Mayor of Perm, Aleksey Demkin said that digital services successfully operating in Bashkortostan and Ufa, which allow managing the city economy and receiving feedback from the population, are of great interest.

“We will certainly take this practice into service. At the same time, there are interesting ideas related to the digitalization of the issues of accelerating the timing of technological connection to life support networks. The topic is very important, today we’ve seen how it is implemented in Ufa, and we can confidently say that you have something to be proud of, - said Aleksey Demkin.

The parties once again noted that a strong Russia is, first of all, strong cities that communicate with each other, exchange information and share experience.
